ADAS and Active Safety
The seminar covers active vehicle safety and driver assistance systems. The control loop driver-vehicle-environment, the vehicle control is derived and the interaction between driver and vehicle is described. Driver assistance systems are introduced and classified.
Short Description
This seminar covers active vehicle safety and driver assistance systems. We will derive the control loop driver-vehicle-environment as well as the vehicle control and describe the interaction between driver and vehicle. Furthermore driver assistance systems are introduced and classified.
Active safety consists of the domains perception safety, operation safety, condition safety and driving safety. You will learn more about ADAS systems and components in guidance level, driving dynamics systems operating at stabilization level in longitudinal, lateral and vertical direction.
The introduction into automated vehicle control gives you a look into current research topics.
